The nearest airport to Ninghai County is Ningbo Lishe International Airport (NGB). International direct flights to NGB is often limited, we suggest you to choose to transit flights via Hangzhou, Shanghai, etc.
2. Travel to Ninghai
Take a taxi :
You can take a taxi from Ningbo Lishe International Airport or download a car-hailing application (Didi ) to order a car and travel to Ninghai County. The trip takes approximately 1.5 hours, covering a distance of about 80 kilometers.
By train:
You can take the metro or a taxi from the airport in Ningbo, Hangzhou, or Shanghai to the local train station.
If you fly into Ningbo Lishe International Airport (NGB): You can take the metro from the airport to Ningbo Station (via Metro Line 2, approximately 30 minutes). The Chinese name for Ningbo Station is “宁波站.”
If you fly into Hangzhou Xiaoshan International Airport (HGH): You can take the metro from the airport to Hangzhou East Station (via Metro Line 19, approximately 40 minutes). The Chinese name for Hangzhou East Station is “杭州东站.”
If you fly into Shanghai Hongqiao Airport (SHA): You can walk from the airport to Shanghai Hongqiao Station (about 10 minutes), or take the metro (via Metro Line 10 or Line 2, about 10 minutes). The Chinese name for Shanghai Hongqiao Station is “上海虹桥站.”
If you fly into Shanghai Pudong International Airport (PVG): You can take the metro from the airport to Shanghai Hongqiao Station (via Metro Line 2, approximately 100 minutes). The Chinese name for Shanghai Hongqiao Station is “上海虹桥站.”

• From Hangzhou to Ninghai, there are 20 trains daily.
• From Shanghai to Ninghai, there are 14 trains daily.
Note: As many people from these areas will be traveling to Ninghai for the event, we strongly recommend you to book your train tickets 14 days in advance. If tickets are unavailable, please be prepared to take a taxi to Ninghai.
3. Travel to the race location(West Gate)
The West Gate located in Ninghai downtown is where you will collect your bib pack. It is also the start/finish location of the race. You can travel there by taxi or Didi, and the journey takes 15-20 minutes.
We recommend Ninghai Sheraton or Ninghai Xizi International Hotel. Some local hotels cannot accept foreign tourists. It is recommended that you check the hotels on booking platforms such as Ctrip and Qunar, and consult in advance.

Nestled in Chayuan Township, Xujia Mountain Stone Village is a hidden gem with over 700 years of history. The entire village is built from local basalt — from houses and walls to roads and bridges — earning it the name “The Kingdom of Stone.” Walking through the narrow alleys of this ancient mountain village offers a peaceful retreat and a glimpse into traditional rural craftsmanship.
3.Shilihongzhuang Wedding Customs Museum
The Shilihongzhuang Wedding Customs Museum, a private one, sits in Xu Xiake Avenue of Ninghai. Within the Museum are exhibited over 1000 pieces of work, either furniture, articles or utensils, which were mainly for Shilihongzhuang use, namely, for wedding or dowry use. It is appraised as a Class-5 tourist resource of the country. The collections in the Museum can not only give off beauty, but takes on rich cultural flavor. Meanwhile they serve as material objects for the social and cultural studies related to the East Zhejiang in the Ming and the Qing Dynasties.
