- Race bib and backpack timing chip (provided by the race committee)
- One cell phone (fully charged and turned on)
- One portable cup (no paper cups in any refreshment station)
- One water bottle or water bladder (≥ 1 L)
- One waterproof and breathable full-caulking jacket (hooded, Waterproof Rating ≥ 10000 MM)
- One backpack (can hold all mandatory gear)
- One emergency whistle
- Energy bars or cereal bars (no less than 800kcal)
- One luminous survival blanket (provided by the race committee)
- One main headtorch (with battery) and backup battery
- One warm top with long sleeves (made of wool blend or merino wool)
- One spare headtorch/torch
- One GPS tracker (provided by the race committee and must be returned after the race)
- Gloves
- Waterproof pants
- One warm middle layer (wool, synthetic cotton, down feather)
- Sun glasses, sports cap
- Dry sacks (for electronic products)
- Trash bags (for personal trash)
- One first aid kit (sterile dressings, medical bandages, antiseptic wipes, band-aids, painkillers, and other personal medications.)
- One GPS watch (with the course track imported)

UTNH-105 runners can deposit at most two bags no more than 30L each at the start location. (1 bag at the finish, 1 bag at the change clothing point). The bags must be in the storage bags and labeled with the storage stickers provided by the organizing committee. Before the race starts, participants must hand over the two bags to the staff at the corresponding storage areas. After the race begins, the organizing committee will arrange for vehicles to transport the bags to their respective locations.
Due to logistical factors, the organizing committee cannot guarantee that the CP6 bags of contestants who withdraw from the UNTH group will have returned to the the finish line.
